Verity is a 23"/58cm amigurumi doll and she comes with her own stand. She is OOAK [I never make two the same] exquisite and expertly handcrafted doll, crafted to be cherished and made for admiration. She is the perfect keepsake for for all doll lovers and art enthusiasts.
She has been made using a wire frame to make her poseable and it is securely taped within her body. She has beautiful 14mm black glass eyes which have been sewn and glued for safety. These together with buttons on her cardigan make her un suitable for small children.
Verity has been crafted using Yarn Art Jeans in peach. This yarn is 55% cotton and 45% acrylic making her soft but durable. The yarn is from the EU and has an OEKO Tax Certification which means that it has been thoroughly tested and free from harmful chemicals.
She stands approximately 23"/ 58cms in height subject to yarn and tension both can vary. Verity is crocheted using a fine hook and crafted entirely in single crochet stitches, each doll features a dense, smooth texture that allows for firm stuffing and flawless shaping. The result? A sculpted , high-end figure that holds it's form beautifully.
Verity is real artistry that takes time. Weeks of stitching, shaping and styling, finished off with her dreamy wefted mohair stitched to her head for security and her made to order clothes. A doll this detailed does take time and she is worth every moment. She is not made in a factory, she is made from my heart, by hand and just for you. Crafted slowly and intentionally because true art cannot be rushed. The price does reflect the time, skill and artistry poured into every detail, she is weeks in the making but she is worth every stitch.
Because of her size she can be dressed in baby clothes [size Newborn] should you wish to add to her wardrobe. However, she does come with made to order couture outfits, handcrafted with premium quality materials and these are: A beautiful Christmas Dress, a made to order white and red bolero cardigan, cream frilly knickers, cream frilly socks, Christmas Peter Rabbit shoes and a green hairclip. I have made her hair using the finest quality wefted light brown mohair.
